Q4 2022

Finding the right employees is one of the most challenging tasks for businesses. They need to find people who share the same values and work ethic as the company itself. We’re happy to announce that we’ve added someone to our team who meets the requirements that we were looking for. We think you’ll be impressed by their skills. Please help us welcome:

  • Jagjeet Singh, System Administrator

We are very happy to see our team continue to grow each year, and we want to recognize the employees who have celebrated anniversaries this quarter while being with us. We appreciate all of our employees and all of the hard work and time spent with us.

  • John Strite, 9 Years
  • Anthony Haley, 8 Years
  • Mark Haluska, 8 Years
  • Derek Geissler, 6 Years
  • Dylan Scott, 6 Years
  • Tony Gomez, 2 Years
  • Zach Kimes, 2 Years
  • Josh Dorn, 1 Year

Our webinar, “Easily Forgotten Cybersecurity Measures That Protect Your Business”, was held in October. We still believe it is something that you should be knowledgeable about so it’s worthwhile to go back and watch or re-watch.

PA State Cybersecurity Coordinator, Derek Mueller, reviews what low-cost, effective cybersecurity practices you have at your fingertips but may have forgotten.

During this past quarter, we’ve been busy enjoying what Pittsburgh offers with great company.

Managing Partners Bill Weisser and Greg Pack attended IT Nation. They were educated on staying current in such a fast-moving tech world. Bill and Greg had a fantastic opportunity to spend time with vendors and explore new products that may be beneficial in the future! This time also brought them back together with peers from all over the country, and continuing to learn the trending best practices from leaders in the industry! A great experience, and they will be back next year!

UPMC/Dr. Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute Fundraiser brought the city of Pittsburgh together to support the Transplant Institute. By supporting their efforts, you will allow them to carry on the tradition of excellence in patient care and research. Our very own Chuck Cooper III and Greg Pack were able to attend and support such a great cause. Chuck and Greg also was able to meet Bob Gruen, photographer for famous rock and roll musicians, at the fundraiser. We can’t wait to support the Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute again!

On November 1st, Derek Geissler and Bill Weisser attended the Penguins vs. Bruins game with one of our clients. While Boston trailed 5-3 at the start of the third period, the Bruins scored the last three goals in an overtime win against the Penguins. Maybe next time, our guys will be good luck charms!

Lastly, some fun in the office! We had our company Halloween costume party, and thanks to all the fantastic individuals who followed our social media, our costume contest was a success! It was so much fun seeing everyone’s favorite costume and having some non-related work fun in the office with everyone! Some of the team participated in the “One Chip Challenge,” which did not go over so well for some of them. If you are ever thinking about doing it, talk with Anthony Haley first, and we are sure he will change your mind!
