About Me

Greg Pack has been around technology for about as long as he can remember — long before he knew it would become his career, or that he'd build a business around it. It started with a Commodore 64, an elementary school Apple II, and a habit of signing up for any high school elective that came with a few extra minutes on a PC. By 16, he still didn't have a computer of his own, so he took a job at a local grocery store and saved every paycheck until he could buy one — about $2,300 at the time. That job taught him two things that have stuck with him ever since: how to budget and save toward something that matters, and what real customer service looks like from behind a cash register.

When the time came, Greg made the hard call to skip a traditional college path and jump straight into the workforce. It felt like a risk in the early days, and there were moments he wondered if he'd made the wrong bet. But hard work, a habit of teaching himself whatever he didn't know, a few great mentors along the way, and the occasional stroke of luck proved otherwise. Over the 26 years since, his career has come back to three things again and again: relationships, learning, and adapting to change. As he puts it, you either embrace change or this industry isn't for you.

Before founding PGH Networks, Greg had the chance to learn business from nearly every angle — sales, consulting, management, budgeting, coaching, forecasting, reading market trends, and understanding what it really means for a company to operate with a clear mission, vision, and values. That well-rounded foundation shapes how he leads today. As both business owner and salesperson, Greg finds his greatest satisfaction in helping other leaders build more than just a technology plan — he helps them build a plan that actually aligns with where their company is headed. He prides himself on meeting fellow owners and executives where they are, understanding their business and their challenges, and then breaking down their options in plain, simple terms.

That same instinct for spotting where the industry is headed is what's driving Greg's focus today. He's watched the IT landscape shift before — from on-premise to cloud, from break-fix to managed services — and he sees AI as the next major turning point. Rather than wait for it to arrive, Greg has pushed PGH Networks to get ahead of it, building out AI consulting and solutions as a core part of what the company offers. He wants PGH Networks' clients to have a trusted guide through the noise around AI — someone who can cut through the hype, identify real opportunities, and help them adopt these tools responsibly and strategically, the same way he's always approached technology planning.

Today, Greg serves as Co-Owner and Chief Executive Officer of PGH Networks, where he also acts as the company's Integrator under the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) model — taking the big ideas and turning them into day-to-day reality, keeping the team aligned and accountable, while partnering closely with Bill to keep the business moving in one clear direction.

Outside the daily hustle, Greg is exactly who you'd hope he'd be: outgoing, quick to joke around, and always up for having fun along the way. He's an avid reader, stays active, and loves road biking and traveling — if there's something new to see or do, he's in. But more than anything, he values time spent with family and friends.
